The Public School Scholars Programme (PSSP)

• If I have been accepted into a PSSP partner school am I an automatic recipient of the award?
• Is it mandatory that I have SATs and ACTs to obtain this scholarship?
• Is it possible for me to obtain this scholarship if I graduated in the previous year?
• Is the PSSP available for any school of my choice?
• May I defer this award?
• May I live off campus once given the award?
• May I pursue studies in any field, or must I pursue a national priority area of the country?
• May I switch universities / colleges after the first semester?

All Bahamas Merit/National Merit

• Does the All Bahamas Merit Scholarship cover books and transportation (flight)?
• Does this scholarship have an age limit?
• If I meet the minimum requirements, am I guaranteed the National Merit Award
• May I bring a portfolio or other items to my interview?
• May I defer the award?
• May IBs or APs be used instead of the BGCSEs for this award?

The National Award and Bursary Award Programme

• Do I have to apply to UB to be accepted for this award?
• Does the Bursary cover books?
• I don’t have my BGCSE results yet. Can I still apply?

National Tuition Assistance

• Can you use the National Tuition Assistance to study locally?
• Can you use the Tuition assistance to study at the master's or doctoral degree level?

The Teacher Education Grant

• If I wanted to study Education at another university, can the Teacher Education Grant be transferred to study at that university?

• What is the maximum that the Teacher Education Grant will cover?

National Technical Scholarship

• May I use the technical scholarship to apply for a four-year technical degree?

The Gerace Research Centre Scholarship

• Do you have to study a priority area to obtain this scholarship?
• May I study at the master's degree level with this scholarship?
• May I use the Gerace Scholarship to study at another school in the United States other than the ones listed?

National Academic Scholarship
