This initiative offers Bahamian students a unique opportunity to pursue a 5-month intensive training in building crafts at The King's Foundation's esteemed training centres in the United Kingdom. The program is designed to enhance educational attainment and provide hands-on experience in traditional building crafts, supporting the growth and development of a prosperous, healthy, and peaceful Bahamas. Over $50 million has already been invested in improving educational opportunities for Bahamians, reflecting our commitment to fostering local talent and community development.
The Ministry is pleased to submit for your information the announcement of the Call for Applicants for the 2026 Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) Scholarship Program for research Students offered by the Government of Japan. The Center for Development Research (ZEF) at the University of Bonn offers scholarships for doctoral research in sustainable development. This program is funded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) under the Development-Related Postgraduate Courses (EPOS) scheme for students from developing countries. The Bonn International Graduate School for Development Research (BIGS-DR) provides a tailored, interdisciplinary academic experience including coursework, supervision, and field research. The program fosters global networking, knowledge exchange, and skills development. It includes full tuition coverage, a monthly living stipend, travel allowance, health insurance, and additional support for research and family (if applicable). The Rhodes Scholarship Program, the world’s oldest international scholarship programme, invites talented young students from around the globe to undertake full-time postgraduate study at the University of Oxford in the United Kingdom. The Rhodes Scholarship is awarded on the basis of merit and aims to develop public-spirited leaders committed to promoting international understanding and peace. Scholars may pursue most full-time postgraduate courses offered by Oxford University. The scholarship covers Oxford tuition, a settling allowance, living expenses, two economy-class flights to and from the UK, health insurance, visa fees, and more. Scholars may also receive additional support for dependents. Application Deadline: 31st July, 2025.
The Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Havana has announced that applications are open for the “Study in Saudi Arabia” scholarships for international students for the academic year 2025. The program invites applicants for Undergraduate, Master’s, and PhD studies at top Saudi universities. Scholarships cover full tuition, a monthly stipend, free accommodation, health insurance, and round-trip airfare.
